Supplemental Health Care is a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Reno, Nevada.
About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work on a 13-week contract basis, with the possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a meaningful contribution to patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to individual patients and their families, including assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating patient care. They will also respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality respiratory care services to patients and their families
- Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans
- Implement and document patient care interventions
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed
- Maintain equipment and ensure optimal functionality
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner certification
- 1-2 years minimum acute care experience
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
This role offers a competitive salary range of $2,052 - $2,264 per week, paid bi-weekly. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, continuing education opportunities, and access to Supplemental University's online CEU courses.
