LPN Nurse Residency Program

The BAYADA Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive transition-to-practice program designed for new graduate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who want to launch a rewarding career in home care. Our program focuses on creating a collaborative and supportive environment where you can develop your critical thinking and nursing skills while working with children and adults in the home.
Program Highlights- Ongoing support from an RN clinical manager, coach, instructor, and preceptor
- Opportunity to learn and practice complex skills
- On-the-job training, in-classroom learning, and simulation lab training using state-of-the-art manikins
- Competitive wages and flexible scheduling
- Short commute times and a positive work environment
- Assessments and training of family members
- Medication administration and prescribed treatments
- Communication with the patient's multidisciplinary team
- Supply management and emergency management
- Current LPN license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
