Job Summary:

The Computed Tomography Technician will operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. This role requires preparing patients for procedures, positioning them safely and accurately, adhering to imaging protocols, and collaborating with radiologists to obtain accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position them appropriately
  • Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
  • Provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
Requirements:
  • One year of recent experience as a Computed Tomography Technician
  • Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • Preferred: Current ARRT Certification
