About the Role:
As a member of the Prime Healthcare team, we are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our award-winning team at North Vista Hospital. Our dedicated professionals are committed to delivering high-quality care in a friendly hospital environment.
Under the general direction of the physician, the successful candidate will assist with scrubbing procedures and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab. This role requires a strong understanding of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with procedures in the cardiovascular lab, including scrubbing and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.
- Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for each procedure.
- Monitor par levels of all instruments and supplies.
- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
- Assist in the training of new staff.
Qualifications:
- ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
- BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
