Job Summary

The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the surgical team, and ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical experience. This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitor patient condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Minimum two years of recent operating room experience.
  • AHA BLS certification.
