Job Summary:

A Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely, efficient, and accurate cash and credit card transactions and reporting. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.

• Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register and surrounding area.

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.

• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.

• Maintain knowledge of menu items, prices, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and make recommendations.

• Perform closing duties, including counting and reconciling cash, processing credit card transactions, and securing the cash register and surrounding area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
