Job Summary

The Neonatal Program Manager plays a pivotal role in facilitating and implementing the hospital's Neonatal Program Plan, ensuring alignment with the hospital's and system's Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives as defined in the Texas Administrative Code for Hospital Level of Care Neonatal Designation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in neonatal care at the hospital, providing expert guidance and support to nursing staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve neonatal care outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on neonatal care best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Neonatal bedside nursing
  • Preferred Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Preferred 3-5 years' experience in a managerial role
  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
  • Specialty or Administration certification desired
  • BLS and NRP certification
