Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery within the Fabrication department.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on relevant equipment.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Communicate effectively with Team Leaders and Production Supervisors regarding part shortages.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines as per company policies.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Focus on continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Advanced Responsibilities:
- Utilize forklifts and aisle stackers for the transportation and relocation of inventory or products.
Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Relevant technical training or experience is advantageous for advanced roles.
Experience Requirements:
- Proficiency in blueprint reading is preferred.
- Basic math skills, particularly with fractions and decimals, are essential.
- A strong mechanical aptitude is required.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Quality Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and address any non-conformities related to products, processes, and quality systems.
- Document and report any issues concerning product quality and processes.
- Recommend solutions through the appropriate channels.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, employees may encounter standard office conditions as well as typical manufacturing environments. Regular communication is required, and employees must be able to stand for extended periods. The role necessitates the use of hands for handling tools and controls, as well as the ability to climb, balance, and reach. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 pounds. The role also involves bending, stooping, and crouching regularly, along with the need to set up, adjust, assemble, control, test, and operate machinery.
