Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Franciscan Ministries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nutrition services to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and exceeded.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify individualized care plans
• Develop and implement nutrition interventions to support resident health and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate records of resident data, including meal observations and quality assurance audits
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to ensure seamless care delivery
• Represent Dining Services at scheduled Resident Care Conferences

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
• Registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) licensure in the State of Ohio
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in long-term care settings
• Strong understanding of Federal regulations governing long-term care facilities

• Competitive salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum
