Job Title: Design Project Manager

Actalent is seeking a Design Project Manager to join our team. As a Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage design projects from conception to completion
  • Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans and specifications
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns or issues
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with business development team to identify and pursue new project opportunities
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement proactive measures to mitigate them
  • Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, financial summaries, and performance metrics, to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture
  • Professional Engineering or Registered Architect license (a plus)
  • Proven experience managing design projects in an Engineering or architecture firm
  • Project experience including Life science, Pharmaceutical, Medical or Manufacturing design project
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and Sr management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP design and construction
  • Experience in business development, including client relationship management, proposal preparation, and sales presentations (a plus)
