Job Summary
This role involves significant physical activity; candidates must have the stamina and strength to fulfill the job requirements effectively. Employees will be required to stand, walk, carry, grip, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. The position also necessitates reaching overhead, climbing, and navigating various work surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks safely, prioritizing safety especially when operating machinery and equipment.
- Accurately measure and weigh raw materials.
- Load molds with the appropriate raw materials.
- Ensure correct selection of mold part numbers, including necessary graphics and inserts.
- Remove completed products from molds and prepare them for subsequent operations.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in counting and performing basic arithmetic.
- Willingness to learn and utilize basic hand tools.
- Capability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
