Job Summary

Developmental Services, Inc. - Columbus seeks a reliable Material Handler to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load and unload parts trucks at the start and end of each shift.
  • Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing materials against shipment records to ensure accuracy.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport materials to various production areas.
  • Assembly and Packaging: Assist in the assembly and packaging of products as needed.
  • Quality Control: Maintain quality standards for all production, ensuring accuracy to measurement.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a production or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
