Job Summary

As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve academic success by providing individualized support and guidance. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to the mission of Tulsa Community College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate tutoring sessions to help students improve their academic skills and achieve mastery of course content.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with students to set goals and develop strategies for achieving academic success.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in a variety of subjects, including math, science, and English.
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to ensure seamless support services.
Requirements
  • Ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience working with students in a tutoring or mentoring capacity.
