CWI Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) to join our team at Acuren Inspection, Inc. as a Pressure Retaining Equipment Specialist. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for performing visual and non-destructive examinations of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API (American Petroleum Institute) standards and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes.

• Perform visual and non-destructive examinations of pressure retaining equipment to ensure compliance with API and ASME standards
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition and provide recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration
• Provide technical input to clients on welding and metallurgical issues
• Offer technical guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures
• Fully comply with all Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participate in site safety initiatives

• Valid CWI Certification Required
• Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570/653 a plus
• 5 - 10 years' experience or 2+ years on site experience preferred
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards
• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
