Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient care, working closely with our Radiation Oncologists to ensure accurate and safe treatment plans.

• Apply ionizing radiation to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery.
• Operate and maintain radiation treatment equipment, performing regular quality assurance checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, providing exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.

• Graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy.
• Registry eligible or currently registered by the ARRT as a Radiation Therapist (T).
• Florida Licensed as Registered Radiation Therapist (RRT) or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
• BLS certification.
