About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radar Systems Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Team, you will be responsible for providing critical mission readiness support for the SPY Radar system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, unscheduled corrective maintenance, system monitoring, and install approved equipment modifications for the SPY Radar system.
  • Provide technical support, including evaluations, assessments, equipment functional checks, assistance on communications systems, troubleshooting/test/analysis, and equipment repair.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams and develop productive working relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment providing independent thinking, problem resolution, and action with minimal direct oversight by senior management.
Requirements
  • Aegis SPY Radar or equivalent experience required.
  • Process Improvement and Affordability experience.
  • Strong business acumen, management influence, and whole systems thinking.
  • Process improvement and problem-solving experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams and develop productive working relationships.
  • Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Final Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.
Desired Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Multi-Mission Signal Processor (MMSP) familiarity, basic understanding.
  • Fire Control System (FCS) experience.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and demonstrated experience mentoring/building organizational talent.
  • International Expatriate experience.
  • Experience working in classified/access controlled facilities.
  • Information Assurance Technician Level II Certification (Network+ and Security+, or equivalents).
