Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Per Diem Respiratory Therapist, RN, or LPN to support our team in the surrounding area.

About the Role

As a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist, you will work with our team to deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in their homes and skilled nursing facilities. Your expertise will be essential in setting up and providing instruction on home medical equipment, including oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, BiPAP, CPAP, and other devices.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver, set up, and provide instruction on home medical equipment to patients
  • Provide routine equipment maintenance, instruction on proper use, safety, cleaning, and continuing education to clients
  • Schedule and conduct staff in-services of respiratory equipment to skilled nursing facilities as requested
  • Serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients, and NRS staff; Assist with troubleshooting of equipment
Requirements
  • Current RT/RN/LPN License in the state of Branch location and in other state(s) as required based on territory served
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check, and drug test
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Home care experience is preferred
