Job Summary
We are seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) to join our team at The Meadows of Leipsic. As an RCA, you will play a vital role in providing general non-certified routine services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
- Support all aspects of meal service, including transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
- Maintain effective communication with the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any changes in resident condition, concerns, and grievances.
- Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities.
- Support clinical staff in making residents comfortable, such as checking sitting position, hydration passing, etc.
- Assist with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience.
- No special licenses or certifications are required.
