Physician Empire is seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team as a Faculty Member at our Family Medicine Residency program in the West Virginia Northern Panhandle. As a Faculty Member, you will be responsible for supervising assigned residents and providing guidance and support to help them develop their clinical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with Medical Residents to review their academic and professional development progress
  • Complete evaluations of Medical Residents to assess their performance and provide feedback
  • Supervise Medical Residents during clinic and in-home patient visits to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Precept Medical Residents in the Family Health Clinic to provide hands-on training and mentorship
  • Act as the admitting physician at the Continuous Care Center for Family Medicine Center patients
  • Present lectures to Medical Residents to enhance their knowledge and skills
  • Serve as the Attending Physician for the Family Medicine inpatient service to provide leadership and guidance
  • Provide outpatient care for Family Medicine Center patients to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in Family Medicine Center faculty meetings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree
  • Family Medicine Residency or Internal Medicine Residency training
  • Must have (or be eligible for) WV medical license
  • Must be BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Must possess a valid DEA certificate
  • Must be able to obtain hospital privileges
