Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to critically ill patients, including those who have undergone complex surgeries such as CABG, valves, aortic dissection, TAVR, and transhiatal esophagectomy.
  • Build relationships with patients and families during a critical time in their lives, providing emotional support and education.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Utilize the Synergy Model for Care to prioritize patient needs and deliver safe, dependable, and effective care.
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, using electronic medical records and other tools as needed.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • Ability to lift 20-35 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
