Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team at CRB. As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, learn from industry leaders, and develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project documents, including calculations, reports, and construction drawings, in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
  • Assist with the development of conceptual designs and coordinate with the design team under the direction of the project team lead.
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines and other internal and external team members, including vendors, clients, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
  • Interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and other internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HVAC systems is strongly preferred.
  • Working towards Fundamental of Engineering Exam registration or completion is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D collaboration tools, including Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, and Assemble.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
