Job Summary:

The Banquet Server is a key member of the Expotel Hospitality team, responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests at all banquet functions. As a Banquet Server, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest interaction is friendly, courteous, and professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food and Beverage Service: Set tables according to hotel standards, serve guests in a timely and efficient manner, and maintain a clean and organized banquet area.
• Preparatory Tasks: Perform side-work duties to ensure a seamless service experience, including preparing room according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) and various meal functions.
• Guest Interaction: Respond to guest problems, complaints, and accidents in a professional and courteous manner, communicating with management as needed.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service experience.
• Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of food and beverage service, adhering to hotel standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a related field preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Flexible and long hours sometimes required, medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Mental Requirements: Ability to convey information and ideas clearly, evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, and maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

• Physical Demands: Standing during entire shift, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects.
