Job Summary:

As a Licensed Therapist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our members. Your expertise will be utilized to conduct diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations using the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each member
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three years of post-degree clinical experience
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Hawaii) or Mental Health Counselor License (Hawaii)
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • National Provider Identifier
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in providing behavioral health services in a primary care setting
  • Knowledge of and experience in conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions
  • Experience in providing services to patients with addictions issues
