Role Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Office Engineer/Document Control professional to assist with a significant civil infrastructure initiative.

This is a long-term, full-time position that requires on-site engagement.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Assisting the Resident Engineer and Project Manager in developing and maintaining construction timelines.
  • Managing the initiation, preparation, review, tracking, and distribution of Requests for Information (RFIs) and change orders.
  • Handling the receipt, preparation, review, processing, and tracking of various project documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with record-keeping standards.
  • Organizing and maintaining comprehensive construction files and project logs.
  • Reviewing daily reports from field inspectors and managing project-related issues.
  • Participating in project meetings and documenting minutes.
  • Preparing monthly project updates and assisting with payment requisition evaluations.
  • Supporting project close-out procedures, including addressing potential claims.
  • Tracking and processing all contract payments and adjustments.
  • Ensuring compliance with EEO reporting and other regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzing contractor claims and providing recommendations.
  • Guaranteeing timely processing and accessibility of project documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience with contract documents and construction plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data manipulation and report generation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialized knowledge in transit, bridge, roadway, utility, or transportation projects.
