We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an ICU Float Nurse in Saranac Lake, NY. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Float to various units as needed, including Medical-Surgical (MS) units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting
- High proficiency in Cardiac Rhythms, Vents, Drips, Mental Health, and Pediatric care
- Meditech EMR experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- New York State Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- High proficiency in Cardiac Rhythms, Vents, Drips, Mental Health, and Pediatric care
- Competitive hourly rate
- 10% reduction in rate for local travelers within 50 miles of the facility
- Non-billable orientation time
- OT, Holiday, and Call-Back Multipliers
