What are we seeking in our .Net Developer?

Position Title: .Net Developer

Employment Type: Contract/Remote

Compensation: $40-$45/hr, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Software Engineer will engage in the development of application software, tasked with analyzing and refining system requirements, and translating these into application prototypes.
  • Responsibilities include planning and designing system architecture, writing, debugging, and maintaining code, determining application architecture, designing user interfaces, collaborating with clients for application testing, ensuring software quality and functionality, integrating hardware and software components, maintaining program documentation, and evaluating new software technologies.
  • In the realm of operating systems, the Software Engineer will analyze system requirements based on business needs, assess and validate the systems software environment, select and install necessary compilers and utilities, and monitor system performance while ensuring adherence to information security policies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in electronic data processing systems, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • A bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering discipline. Additional relevant experience may substitute for formal education on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience as a .NET developer
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying custom applications using Microsoft Blazor (minimum 2 years)
  • Proficiency with SQL Server and Oracle databases, including advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and T/SQL for stored procedures and functions (minimum 3 years)
  • Experience with Git for source code control (minimum 2 years)
  • Familiarity with CJIS or HIPAA compliance (minimum 2 years)
  • Experience conducting security risk assessments and recommending necessary controls (minimum 3 years)
