We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive classroom environment and delivering tailored instruction to students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities, including accommodations and modifications as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's education
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and research-based strategies for teaching students with disabilities
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school or educational setting preferred
