About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at Marriott Louisville Downtown. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful set-up, service, and tear down of all banquet events.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain the function room area, including tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional hospitality and service.
• Assist with the transportation of heavy materials and equipment.
• Practice safe handling and care of banquet equipment.
• Keep the function room area and storage areas clean and organized.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to stand and move for long periods of time and to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as necessary.
