Key Responsibilities

The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in the success of our business, serving as the primary point of contact with customers and fostering strong relationships. They are responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of automotive parts, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading and transporting items to customers or businesses in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Following directions from dispatchers, adhering to assigned routes, and utilizing route navigation apps as needed.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles without disrupting customer operations.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and professionally handling complaints and concerns.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Accepting payments, preparing reports, and reconciling debt and credit related to deliveries.
  • Performing daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicles and notifying management of any issues.
  • Assisting with other store/warehouse duties as assigned, including stock and parts pulling.
  • Maintaining and promoting workplace safety.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a current, valid driver's license.
  • Meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over).
  • Have current valid automobile insurance with their name on the policy.
  • Be able to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with prolonged sitting.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $15.69.
