JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Respiratory Therapy

Shift Timings: Night Shift from 19:00 to 07:30 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine the appropriate type and frequency of treatment, formulating a care plan based on diagnosis.
  • Implement and oversee the patient care plan and necessary equipment.
  • Continuously monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
  • Administer advanced respiratory care techniques.
  • Assess respiratory practices, medication administration, and treatment efficacy based on patient outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and available community support resources.
  • Act promptly in emergency resuscitation scenarios.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of two years of level 3 or level 4 NICU experience with NRP certification.
  • Preferred experience with Jet and Oscillator devices.
  • Level 4 NICU involvement in high-risk deliveries.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification.
Requirements:
  • COVID vaccination with two shots and a booster.
