Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at GFL Environmental. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy equipment and vehicles
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) if required
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
