About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Brookdale at Home. As a Home Care Specialist, you will provide personalized care and support to seniors in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one companionship and non-medical care to seniors, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as housekeeping and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Offer transportation to doctor's appointments and other errands, promoting independence and mobility.
  • Provide medication reminders and support to help seniors manage their medication regimens.
  • Engage in activities that promote mental and physical well-being, such as pet care and social interaction.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course and maintenance of certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
