Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Newborn ICU team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a culture of excellence and compassion.

Responsibilities
  • Standards of Practice
    • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
    • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and quality outcomes
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve desired outcomes
  • Standards of Professional Performance
    • Practice ethically and maintain confidentiality
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
    • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1-2 years of RN experience, with neonatal experience preferred
