Join Our Team at Buffalo Lodging Associates

We are seeking a dedicated Morning Bistro Server for our recently updated establishment. Our hotel features a welcoming atmosphere with well-appointed guest accommodations, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure visitors. The Bistro Restaurant & Bar serves a variety of breakfast options and light dinner selections, and we also host numerous events and banquets.

Typical Work Schedule: Mornings from 6 AM to 10 AM on weekdays, and 6 AM to 12 PM on weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly, take their orders, process transactions using the POS system, and handle payments efficiently.
  • Prepare food, beverages, and coffee according to company standards, ensuring a thorough understanding of the menu.
  • Set up the bar area for service, craft drink orders, adhere to local laws regarding alcohol service, and complete closing tasks while maintaining cleanliness in the bar and cooler sections.
  • Assist in various Food and Beverage operations, including clearing tables, washing dishes, resetting dining areas, delivering meals to guests, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas and the lobby.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a hotel food and beverage or restaurant setting is preferred, along with a basic understanding of food and beverage preparation.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to grasp concepts, practices, and established guidelines related to guest service is essential.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including intranet systems, property management software, WORD, and EXCEL is highly desirable.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
