Pharmacy Graduate Intern

Walgreens is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Graduate Intern to join our team. As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about pharmacy practice and want to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operations: Assist with prescription dispensing, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and verification, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- People & Performance Management: Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve business objectives, including improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Training & Personal Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
- Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC).
- Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy, if required.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 45 days of completion of intern hours.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
