Job Title: Crane Operator

VetJobs is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating mobile cranes to lift, transport, and position materials in various work environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mobile cranes to lift, transport, and position materials in shop areas, warehouses, outside storage facilities, and test areas.
  • Meet qualifications and standards of a Heavy Equipment Operator with at least five years of experience on earthwork and construction equipment.
  • Operate boom crane at various outdoor locations where maneuverability is not a major problem.
  • Work in a team environment to ensure safe and efficient operation of cranes.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a National Commission of Certified Crane Operators (CCO) Certification to operate large telescopic boom cranes in excess of 0-300 tons at the contractor's expense.
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL endorsed for Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and Tanker.
  • Must have 3 years of experience operating mobile cranes with lift limits in excess of 2000 lbs.
Working Conditions:
  • The work of this position is performed in the field where you are subject to the environment and sometimes in an environmentally controlled office environment.
  • Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must be able to repeat the same movements for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must have good manual dexterity.
