Job Summary:

AmerCareRoyal is seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our team. As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and repairing production machines to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the production team to meet production and quality goals.
  • Understand the functions of the machine, correlator, and presses.
  • Adjust the machine periodically for quality control.
  • Lock out and tag out a machine when required.
  • Verify machines are working correctly through daily inspections.
  • Assist staff in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Manage quality by checking operator work, quality of bags, and checking labels for correctness.
  • Commit to quality work and products.
  • Work overtime when required.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Competencies:

  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in communicating issues quickly.
  • Reliability in attendance and productivity.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical stamina.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • PLC troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting; a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Carrying; a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Use of fingers/hands to grasp product; frequently.
  • Walking and standing.
  • Climbing.
  • Ability to work at a rapid pace.
  • Visual ability.
