Job Summary

Port View Preparatory is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our Special Education Teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide a well-rounded educational experience to our students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 educational support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs
  • Collect and analyze data using an online data collection program
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as needed
  • Assist students with self-care needs, including toilet training, wiping, and feeding
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass DOJ livescan
  • Required upon hire: TDAP, TB with negative result, CPR certification
  • Availability during school hours for the shifts of 7am-3pm or 9am-5pm
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relative experience to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Child development courses completed
  • Passionate and motivated for growth within the special education field
