Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at NavitsPartners. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting and be proficient in leading the OR team, effective communication with patients and families, and collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities:
• Assess patient needs prior to and during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and document individualized care plans for each patient.
• Lead and provide guidance to the OR team, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, the OR team, supervisors, managers, and ancillary departments.
• Participate in staff development through preceptorship and continuing education initiatives.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
• Experience with open-heart surgeries is essential.
• Current licensure and certifications (Michigan State License and BLS - AHA).
• Candidates' permanent address will be required; local candidates will not be considered due to a 50-mile radius restriction.
