Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a critical, non-critical, and chronically ill setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans under the direction of a physician.
- Conduct various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures, including emergency response, airway management, and ventilator management.
- Deliver aerosolized drugs, perform oral hygiene, and manage airway retaining devices.
- Monitor oxygen delivery devices and therapeutic levels, and analyze chest films and blood gas samples.
- Participate in CAP and JC surveys, and maintain accurate and complete documentation.
Requirements:
- RT or RCP License in state of employment required.
- BLS required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required.
- Current ACLS certification required.
Work Schedule: TBD
Work Type: Part Time
