We are excited to announce the launch of a new dual diagnosis initiative and are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant. The work schedule offers flexibility within a five-day workweek commitment.Role Responsibilities:
The Physician Assistant will deliver essential medical services to patients, adhering to state licensing regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough physical assessments of patients in accordance with training and educational standards;
- Performing comprehensive physical examinations for patients undergoing medication maintenance;
- Ensuring adherence to physician medication directives and collaborating with supervising physicians;
- Evaluating patient care and modifying treatment plans based on outcomes, diagnostic results, and patient input;
- Providing education to patients and staff regarding medication management;
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic policies;
- Continuously enhancing knowledge to meet the requirements for professional certification as a Physician Assistant;
- Executing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program;
- Preferred experience in a substance abuse treatment environment;
- No history of substance misuse for at least three years prior to employment.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant;
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of practice;
- DEA certification.
