Speech Therapist Opportunity for Academic YearLocation: Hainesport, NJ
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the upcoming academic year. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students, developing personalized treatment plans, and educating families and caregivers.
Responsibilities:- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs.
- Education and Training: Educate students and their families about speech disorders, their causes, and effective management techniques.
- Collaboration: Work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Therapy Sessions: Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of student conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
- IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting is required.
- Education: Must have a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
