Position Overview
- Supervise laboratory staff and ensure adherence to credentialing standards
- Conduct advanced testing on patient specimens
- Assist team members with diverse laboratory functions
- Oversee quality assurance initiatives
- Coordinate laboratory coverage during staff absences and holidays
- Assess and introduce new laboratory technologies and procedures
- Manage laboratory requisitions and inventory
- Ensure compliance with established laboratory protocols and documentation
- Work across various disciplines including Microbiology, Chemistry, and Hematology
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate's degree in a relevant scientific field with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
Required Certifications: MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MLT(ASCP) or equivalent credentials
Licensure Requirements: MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MLT(ASCP), AMT, NCA or equivalent
