The Blackstone Group is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team in Franklin, KY. As a dual Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients in both the emergency department and hospital setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide timely and high-quality medical care to patients in the emergency department
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute injuries or illnesses in an efficient manner
- Round on patients, admissions, discharges, and coordinate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient encounters and progress in medical records
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in either emergency medicine (EM), internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM)
- Valid state medical license (Kentucky) or the ability to obtain one
- Experience in both emergency medicine and hospital medicine is preferred but may not be required for all positions
