Asset Integrity Field Inspector

Middough Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Asset Integrity Field Inspector to join our team. As an Asset Integrity Field Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of structural systems and identifying deficiencies. You will also be responsible for recommending actions for remediation and coordinating with the engineering department as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections of structural systems to identify deficiencies and recommend actions for remediation.
- Coordinate with the engineering department to develop and implement remediation plans.
- Deploy to field locations to gather documentation of existing conditions and prepare daily reports.
- Utilize sketches and drawings to depict inspection findings and recommendations for repair.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in equipment inspection standards, codes, practices, procedures, methods, and inspection equipment.
- Provide technical support in resolving problems concerning inspection methods and procedures.
- Technical Associate degree preferred; high school diploma may be considered.
- 1-5 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Valid state driver's license for current resident state required.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Nondestructive testing experience.
- Familiar with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail abilities.
- Ability to multitask and organize for project efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Frequently walk up to and more than 10,000 steps per day, reach with hands and arms, climb several flights of stairs per day, ladder ascending and descending, balance, stoop or kneel, use repeating motions that may include the wrists/hands/fingers and talk and hear.
- Subject to confined space entries and non-confined space work requiring bending, reaching, climbing with inspection tools, harnesses, and lanyards.
- Frequent use of hand tools including but not limited to hammers, wire brushes, tape measures, etc.
- Infrequent lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Frequently use up-close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
- May be exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as climbing ladders and/or stairs, extreme heat and/or cold, and/or poor air quality) if or when on-site at a client facility.
- May require occasional car or air travel to other company locations or client sites.
