Mary Lanning Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition, communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Document patient information and progress in a clear and concise manner, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred).
- 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting, with a strong focus on critical care and patient advocacy.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Current registered nursing (RN) license or Temporary permit from the State of NE required.
