We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated hospice care team in Metairie, Louisiana.
In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care and support patients and their families in their homes or facilities, ensuring the highest quality of care and comfort for patients during their end-of-life journey.
As a Hospice RN, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to carry out the patient's plan of care, performing patient assessments, checking vitals, evaluating breathing, monitoring pain, administering prescribed medication and treatments, and ensuring accessibility of medical equipment and supplies.
You will also educate family members on the patient's prognosis, changes in care plan, medication, and hospice goals, taking a holistic approach to care that engages the patient's mind, body, spirit, and family.
Our Hospice Registered Nurses enjoy:

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 1 year of hospice nursing experience
- CPR certification
- Valid Louisiana driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
