Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team as a Lead Architectural Designer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design, with 5-15 years of experience in a lead architectural role on projects from concept through construction completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design and Documentation
    • Lead the design and documentation of various project types, including government buildings, commercial, and residential projects.
    • Develop and implement design solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Client Interfacing
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
    • Provide timely updates on project status and discuss project scope with clients.
  • Project Management
    • Support the Project Manager with client meetings and correspondence.
    • Coordinate with all disciplines of design, including engineers, designers, and outside consultants.
  • Research and Development
    • Research design solutions and industry best practices.
    • Develop and implement new design techniques and technologies.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's in Architecture preferred.
  • Experience
    • 5-15 years of experience in a lead architectural role on projects from concept through construction completion.
  • Skills
    • Proficient in Revit/BIM and Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills.
