Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned RN Manager with experience in Labor and Delivery to join our team. As a Travel RN Manager, you will be responsible for creating goals and objectives for your department, communicating with staff and department heads, and ensuring compliance with current laws.

Responsibilities
  • Create goals and objectives for your department and ensure they are met by the staff.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and department heads to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keep and organize records of the facility to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Recruit and train nurses and other health professionals to meet the needs of the facility.
  • Create work schedules for nurses to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
  • Ensure the facility is compliant with current laws and regulations.
  • Improve the quality and efficiency of care delivered to patients by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Solve any problems patients may have at the facility in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as an RN Manager in Labor and Delivery.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • May require other certifications.
