Join Our Team as a Respiratory Therapist

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with our healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced Respiratory Therapy procedures, including nebulizer treatments, CPT, ventilator checks, and ABGS.
  • Assist with intubations, CPR, and other departmental needs.
  • Administer treatments, perform ventilator checks, ABGs, oxygen therapy, and respond to Rapid responses and Code Blues.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a COARC accredited School for Respiratory Therapy.
  • Licensed as an RCP in the state of Illinois.
  • RRT Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care for individuals with greater than 6 months' post-graduation.
  • RRT eligible new graduates must obtain the RRT credential within 6 months of hire date.
  • BLS Certified from AHA or ARC.
  • ACLS Certified from AHA or ARC within 60 days from hire date.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required for any Charge or Supervisor RT; credential within 6 months of hire date for all others.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certified required for any Charge or Supervisor RT; credential within 6 months of hire date for all others.
